- Stress – Everyone has different stress triggers. Work stress tops the list, according to survey. Sometimes stress comes form the inside rather than of the outside. You can stress yourself out by just worrying. Worrying can actually make a person feel tired. When you are in stress your body launches a physical response. Your nervous system springs into action “fight or flight”, your heartbeat speeds up, your breathing gets faster, and the later part it exhaust your body system. Try to gave yourself adequate time to sleep and or any medication to relieve stress.
- Have a drink before bed – Majority of us likes to have a drink before going to bed to feel relax. Beliefs stated that having a bit drink of alcohol can help you fall asleep faster but the truth is it actually reduces rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, a kind of deep sleep wherein you are starting to dream. Getting low REM can causes you to feel drowsy during the day, so instead of having a wine before going to sleep better not to.
- Dehydrated – Dehydration can make you feel exhausted. Studies shows that even mild dehydration can cause energy loss. knowing the fact that water has a big percentage in our body. Make sure you drink either water, juice or tea to make you energetic. It is even advisable that we should take atleast eight glasses of water a day.
- Lack of Exercise – Exercising can help a person to feel better. It probably boost your energy levels in those of extremely tired. It doesn’t mean that you need to go to gym daily, walking for just 20 minutes or doing short yoga will do.
- Low in Iron – Iron deficiency can cause low energy. Iron deficiency is due either to increased need for iron by the body or a decreased absorption or amount of iron take in. So, try to loading up on iron-rich foods such as meat-based proteins or leafy greens.
- The Diet – Eating foods high in sugar, carbohydrates, or caffeine might give you a temporary energy boost, but these foods also cause your blood sugar to plummet, leaving you lethargic and energyless. Studies have shown that eating junk food leads to fatigue. Stick to complex carbohydrates and unprocessed food to optimize your energy levels.
- Using of Technology before bed – It is our habit that we watch TV and or check emails before bed, it is actually a habit that prevent you from having a restful sleep. The stimulation from technology causes our brain activity to increase before bedtime when it is instead to slow down. The artificial light from cell phones, computers, and TV screens also suppresses production of melatonin. So, try turning off your technology an hour before going to sleep you can have the proper mode of sleep.
