Cellulite is the dimples appearance of the skin, it is a skin infection. It is also known as orange peel syndrome, the herniation of subcutaneous fat within fibrous connective tissue and is often appeared on the pelvic region, abdomen, and lower limbs. Usually occurs for mostly in females.
Cellulites are woman’s nightmare and they tend to get rid of. It is common to appear to females due to the connective tissue that runs vertically.
Cellulites appeared due to the changes in metabolism, physiology, diet and exercise habits, hormonal factors, genetic factors, and dimorphic architecture alteration.
There are several foods that fights cellulites,
- Sardines – it is high in Omega 3 fatty acids. Eating sardines and other fatty fish can combat the estrogens. Like salmon, they are rich in antioxidants which break down fat cells in cellulites.
- Chili and Cayenne Peppers – these are rich in vitamin B6 that restore and fortify connective tissues, that can probably fight against unwanted dimpling,
- Lemon – it has the ability to lower the impact of carbohydrates and lowers the estrogen levels. Lemons will keep the legs and thighs look trim and taught.
- Dark Berries – it can enhance collagen production that creates new skin tissues. They contain antioxidants that breaks down fat attached to connective tissues. It improves skin tone.
- Garlic – best in reducing insulin levels. Garlic is known for having medical effects and health benefits.
- Olive oil – it boost metabolism, burns fats and improves skin-building cells.
- Avocado – good to eat in order to balance the insulin levels that fights cellulites. It is very rich in potassium, although it is high in fat yet it is also high in fiber.
- Green tea – contains antioxidants that keep your body healthy and actually prevent cellulites. It also can boost metabolism and reduce fats.
- Cucumber – the other way also to prevent or fight cellulites is to keep the body hydrated. Water is the best and there are other foods that are good to consume that are high in water – cucumber is added on.
- Papaya – it is rich in vitamin C that supports collagen in the skin.
